You would think after the years of improvement in interface design that modern titles would most certainly have the leg up when it comes to that, but no! In the ninth video in the series, Lawnie looks at how in many cases there have actually been backward steps with regards to interface. How the foundations laid out by DOS gaming were initially improved upon and then unceremoniously subverted by a combination of nefarious desires and poor implementations.
