Here's a short video showing the difference between 2 and 4MB of video memory in DOSBox ECE running the game "Blood" at 1024x768. With only 2MB of video memory (which is the standard with DOSBox), all HUD elements flicker a lot, with 4MB there's no flickering at all. This should help with all Build Engine games, which have similar problems.
