[DOSBOX] Jazz Jackrabbit (1994, DOS) Long Play [LP] w/ Cheats 1080p [READ DESCRIPTION]
1Playthrough of Jazz Jackrabbit (1994, DOS) with some cheats, kind of speedrun through it.
This is version 1.1 of the game, so no extra episodes. The later 1.3 version of the game have certain problems in progressing through the levels, so it's not used.
It seems like I'm using the Launcher/Bouncer (the bouncy ball shot), but I'm actually using the TNT. But since every time you use the TNT it switches back to the Launcher, so I use a controller profiler to switch it back to TNT constantly, not because I want to always use the Launcher. During beginning of Nippius 1 that I don't, since using the TNT will trigger the secret level on Nippius 1 when you get close to it. I also don't use the TNT much in Dreempipes 1 & 2 because swimming is actually a lot slower.
And by using the TNT, certain levels can be completed extremely fast, faster than any Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) due to the placement of the end of the level sign post. If I were to actually TAS this w/ cheats, it could be much faster, but I don't want to do tedious, time-consuming work. Just playing for fun and trying to see how fast I could complete it w/ cheats.
I had a bit of trouble rendering this, because for some reason, Epic decided that the levels would run at 29 fps, and everything else at 35 fps. This clearly caused some serious desyncing issue. What the fuck man? Why didn't they just program everything to run 30 fps consistently? Either way, I resolved the issue later by converting all of the cilps to 30 fps. Other than this shittiness on Epic's part, it was fine.
