Which fighters will stay undefeated, and who will be dropped from the tournament completely. Find out NOW!
If you are still unsure what amiibos do, or you are new to the whole amiibo craze – here is the lowdown: One amiibo can work with multiple games. You might get new outfits, power-ups, or other exciting bonuses. Specifics really depend on the amiibo figure you are using and the game you are using it with. Some games (like Mario Party 10) will save certain game data to the amiibo figure. Other games like Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Yoshis Woolly World, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and Super Mario Maker will give you bonus content just for tapping an amiibo to the GamePad.
An amiibo can save data for one game at a time. This means that game data will need to be deleted on an amiibo before it can be used with another game with read/write functions. Currently, only Mario Party 10, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Mario Tennis save certain game data to compatible amiibo figures. Compatibility and functionality of amiibo figures may vary by game. The figurines especially have their work cut out for them when they enter the double elimination amiibo tournament.
Some titles allow you to play as your amiibo character. For example, in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., when played on the New Nintendo 3DS XL system, you can tap a compatible amiibo figure to add them to your team and guide them in battle.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U keeps expanding its roster. Im looking forward to see who is coming up next. Maybe Shovel Knight? Personally, Im hoping to see Snake from MGS return to the action. I think Ryu was an awesome addition to the game, especially when using the classic Street Fighter inputs. How about a Yo-kai character from Yo-Kai Watch? I would happily download Jibanyan or CheekSqueek to use in Super Smash Bros. A lot of people think a Splatoon character might make an appearance, which would be fine by me. Im hoping for Jibanyan or Snake. Shenmue would be great too, but I think RYU filled that role. Thanks again, please hit thumbs up if you are enjoying the tournament so far. Remain Awesome.
