Double Gauss Cyclops Hero "Sleipnir" - Mechwarrior Online The Daily Dose #247
338Today I wanted to try a double Gauss Rifle build for the Cyclops Hero "Sleipnir". The build is relatively close to the stock loadout but without the risky XL engine.
With this loadout you have excellent heat management capabilities. The Gauss Rifles fire almost heat neutral which means that your 4 Medium Lasers can make use of your complete heat threshold.
Eventhough this Mech seems to be a sniper with its long range projectile weapons it is still an Assault Mech. So stay close to your team and help them out by sharing armor with them. Expose yourself at some point and take some hits for the team to give them some room to breathe, cool down and reposition.
