55The way the strat works is the second gargoyle won't aggro you until he can see you, although often times I feel like he aggros me through the wall anyways. Fighting both these guys at once is so random. Trying to fight in that tiny corner with posion mist, camera jank, nad legde jank is a challenge unto itself.
Little unfamiliar with the axe/twinbalde moveset but enough to get the job done. I tried to do this hitless for about 3 streams before I got fed up and went with Nathan's suggestion to stack dragon greatshield talisman with ritual shield.

This is from my infamous "Suck it Anderson" Elden Ring challenge run. I always nickname runs so they aren't such a mouthful, but basically it's a Zweihander only, RL1+0 build. The point of this run is for me to have fun mastering the bosses while showing that anyone with two eyeballs and a heartbeat can learn the bosses, and to show that colossal weapons are better now than they have ever been. The posture system is a better incentive to playing aggressive than the rally system ever was tbh.
