9One of the most useful items in Dragon Quest X are the ruler stones, also known as Ruta Stones depending on which translation you prefer. Whatever you wish to call them, their functionality is very useful. They allow you to instantly zoom to the destination they are set to. You'll get your first Ruler Stone near the start of the game after completing a few errands for your chosen race's starting village. Other ruler stones are typically acquired for reaching various milestones. But, there are a few that are acquired by other means.
