Dragon Age 2 (Xbox 360): Champion's Rise Part 37
7Dragon Age 2, developed by Bioware and published by EA Games, is extremely polarized in the eyes of many fans, with either love or hate for the game overall. There were parts of it I enjoyed more than Dragon Age: Origins (combat) and other parts that were just awful (repetitive use of maps). With Dragon Age: Inquisition less than two months away, we follow the story of Adamo Hawke, The Champion of Kirkwall. In this Xbox 360 playthrough, I decided to change things up a bit by playing a Rogue, rather than the usual Sword and Shield Warrior I am accustomed to playing as.
Starting out as a refugee from Ferelden, Hawke and his family are forced to seek a new home in Kirkwall, thanks to the Darkspawn and Fifth Blight. The story takes you through many trials and tribulations as Hawke tries his best to keep his family together and provide them a lasting home through wealth and status. Tensions rise, however, as the conflict between the Mages and Templars continues to grow and the Qunari presence leaves everyone in a state of unease. With the help of an interesting cast of companions, can Hawke truly become the Champion that Kirkwall needs?
