After completing Long Way Home, an event will occur the next time you try to visit an area outside of the city.
0:00 -- Ambush Site
If you follow the West path heading south, you'll discover a dwarf and some mercenaries needing help against some giant spiders. The dwarf, Javaris, asks that you eliminate some Qunari Tal-Vashoth so that he'll have an easier time negotiating with the Arishok.
3:10, before leaving the area, you'll find an Embrium crafting resource and Caste Treatise, a fetch quest item.
5:08 -- Friendly Tal-Vashoth
On your way to the Tal-Vashoth caves, one of the Tal-Vashoth will warn you. If your Hawke has an aggressive personality, he can convince this Tal-Vashoth to aid you in the incoming fights.
Anyway, kill your way to the cave entrance and enter.
9:19 -- Tal-Vashoth Cavern
11:50, Raw Lyrium at eastern-most point of the caves.
12:15, Silverite in the room where you fight an Elite-Ranked Tal-Vashoth.
12:37, boss fight.
The hardest part of this fight is that a Saarebas (mage) will just jump in at some point. Kill it as soon as you notice it.
15:54 -- Qunari Compound
When it comes to dealing with the Arishok, know that there's an achievement and more story options if you earn his respect. There are many respect points to be earned, and you only need 4 to be considered respected and 5 if you want the achievement.
You can earn two points during this first encounter by deferring to Fenris during the conversation with the Arishok and then informing the Arishok that Javaris promised you future profits.
After Javaris pays you and leaves, the quest is done.
