DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION NEW DETAILS (Escapist News Now)

Game Informer released the new cover art for the upcoming installment in the Dragon Age series, along with a new video featuring developers speaking about the story of Inquisition.

According to Game Informer, you'll play as the head of the, "recently resurrected organization charged with rooting out corruption and evil in the land of Thedas." You reform the Inquisition not as part of the Chantry or the Church, but in opposition.

It is interesting to note BioWare shifted to using the Frostbite 3 engine so they could focus on making the world more expansive and give it more depth than they were previously able to do, wanting it to be more like Baldur's Gate or Skyrim than the linear experience it was before.

Many popular features will return to the game but BioWare also addressed fan feedback regarding items like customizable armor and multiple player races.

Though no release date is in sight, Inquisition will be coming to Xbox One and 360, PS3 and PS4, and PC, and the team at BioWare insists they are pushing all 5 platforms, "To the edge of their breaking point."
