WCG USA FINALS AT ESCAPIST EXPO (Escapist News Now)
The WCG officially announced the USA National Finals will be held at the 2nd annual Escapist Expo in Durham, North Carolina from October 4th-6th.
Professional gamers that have qualified through the online qualifiers will compete LIVE during the show and 20 players will be end up being victorious, and selected to represent Team USA at the WCG global finals held in Kunshan, China later this year.
There will be six titles in the tournament including Cross Fire, FIFA 13, League of Legends, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, and World of Tanks. In addition to the qualifiers, there will be daily contests, giveaways, and free-to-play gaming areas. Plus the official live national finals tournament for Super Street Fighter 4 will be held for attendees at Escapist Expo where the winner will earn a spot on Team USA plus a full travel package to China!
You can still pick up your passes for the Escapist Expo over at www.escapistexpo.com. There will be more than 6,000 attendees from around the world to experience all kinds of geek and gamer awesomeness likes panels, keynotes, tabletop gaming, cosplay contests, and more.
