1The world of Ferelden is in dire need of a hero. That hero, is young Gerald Cousland , a noble who has never left the castle and is suddenly conscripted into a war with the entire realms fate hanging in the balance. Gerald will have to overcome Darkspawn, Dragons and Mikeys awful descison making to finally vanquish the evil, and become the hero that the game expects him to be!
In this volume, Gerald and company take the first steps in their quest to defeat the Darkspawn and end the Blight. The party enter Lothering, gaining allies in Sten, the Quinari Warrior and Leliana, the Chantry Bard. Taking on some local jobs, Gerald hears that the Grey Wardens are being framed for treason and has to defend his....good name. Moving on to Redcliffe, the party hears of undead laying siege to the town at night and a demon ruling over the castle.
