The world of Ferelden is in dire need of a hero. That hero, is young Gerald Cousland, a noble who has never left the castle and is suddenly conscripted into a war with the entire realms fate hanging in the balance. Gerald will have to overcome Darkspawn, Dragons and Mikeys awful decision making to finally vanquish the evil, and become the hero that the game expects him to be!

In this volume, Gerald takes on the dark mage Uldred atop the Circle of Magi. Morrigan enters the fade to challenge the demon who has possessed the Arl of Redcliffes son and the party seek out the Urn of Sacred Ashes. The party explore Denerim and end up working for the city guard, fighting off assassins and Morrigan uncovers Flemeths dark secret of immortality
