The world of Ferelden is in dire need of a hero. That hero, is young Gerald Cousland, a noble who has never left the castle and is suddenly conscripted into a war with the entire realms fate hanging in the balance. Gerald will have to overcome Darkspawn, Dragons and Mikeys awful decision making to finally vanquish the evil, and become the hero that the game expects him to be!

In this volume, Gerry clashes with the former paragon turned golem Caridin in a battle over the Anvil of the Void. Shale opens up to Gerry and decides to explore their past and identity, the party challenge Flemeth in a duel to the death and discover the secrets of her secret Grimoire. Gerry takes on some contracts from the Antivan Crows and the party look to aid the Dalish Elves against the werewolf invasion in the Brecilian Forest.
