1. Planning Phase

Magical Wards (Veil Jumpers):
Best: Bellara, Neve, Emmrich (especially with “Hero of the Veilguard” status). Other companions risk Strife’s life
Venatori War Mage / Aelia (Antivan Crows + Lords of Fortune):
Best: Lucanis, or Neve (if the mage isn’t Aelia). Hero status boosts success
Juggernaut / Bone Golem (Grey Wardens + Mourn Watch):
Best: Taash; Davrin or Harding also strong against Juggernaut
Tips:
Aim for Hero status on your selected companions.
Maximize faction strength (three stars recommended).
Follow UI hints to avoid fatal mistakes
2. Combat Phase
You and two unassigned companions breach the city.
Find Solas: Push through darkspawn and Venatori to locate him and reclaim the Lyrium dagger
Fight alongside Solas: He temporarily joins your group, aiding in combat.
Face Elgar’nan’s Wrath: A blight‑powered mech controlled by your kidnapped companion (Neve or Bellara). It’s weak to necrotic damage—focus on that
Free the companion, complete the objective, earn ~10,000 XP
Hit Hero of the Veilguard: Finish companion story arcs.
Boost faction tiers: Sell valuables and complete side quests for Veil Jumpers, Antivan Crows, Grey Wardens, etc.
Pick companions wisely, not just based on preference.
Use necrotic spells/abilities in the final boss fight for maximum effect.
