We also compare plot devices in Dragon Ball Super to the previous anime in the Dragon Ball franchise, as there’s a lot of examples of Dragon Ball retcons, Dragon Ball Z retcons and Dragon Ball GT retcons (also Dragon Ball GT plotholes, in the English version at least).
