After defeating the menace of the Saiyans, many of the Z-Fighters are fallen, including Piccolo, meaning that Earth's Dragon Balls are rendered useless! In order to revive them, the surviving heroes travel to the planet Namek, which also has Dragon Balls of its own. However, many powerful foes, including the dreadful Frieza, await them there. Meanwhile, on Earth, a survivor of the now-defunct Red Ribbon Army, Dr. Gero, is seeking revenge on Goku and creating new Androids to serve as his personal killing machines, including Cell, who comes from the future. Years later, from the deep reaches of space, Babidi and his cohorts will arrive on Earth in an attempt to gather enough energy to revive Majin Buu, possibly the greatest threat the Earth will ever face. Will Goku be able to stop all of these villains on his own?
