A lot of people wanted Hit in Xenoverse 2. Here's how to get him.

Firstly, he's unlocked from the first instance of the Shenron wish "I want more usable characters!" In order to get the Dragon Balls as quickly as possible to make this wish, there are 2 methods to do this.

METHOD 1: A bit more tedious, arguably, but you are guaranteed Dragon Balls and do not have to deal with any RNG.

1. Make a fresh character.
2. Using that character, play through until you get to Elder Kai and can take part in your first Time Patrol mission.
3. Clear this Time Patrol mission (the one with Raditz), and return to Conton City.
4. Head to Orange Star High School in the Business District, and talk to Sanud (she's on the right side facing towards the school with a blue '!' above her head).
5. Defeat her, and you are given a guaranteed Dragon Ball.

It takes about 10 minutes per created character to go through this process. Simply repeat this process until you have 7 Dragon Balls.

METHOD 2: Less tedious than Method 1, arguably, but you will have to deal with luck factor heavily.

1. Create your character.
2. Play through the game until you beat the first Time Patrol mission (the one with Raditz). This unlocks the first Parallel Quest.
3. Play the Parallel Quests one by one, until you unlock Parallel Quest 04: "Prepare for the Attack of Saiyans!". This is the Parallel Quest you will use to grind for the Dragon Balls.
4. Defeat the first trio of characters (Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha), and look around for a trio of Time Patrollers.
5. Defeat them and they may drop a 'Key Item'. This item is a Dragon Ball. If they do not drop one, simply retry the mission. If they do drop one, complete the mission.

You just need to repeat steps 4 and 5 with this method, until you have all 7 Dragon Balls. Be careful, though, as the Time Patrollers may be any level; they can therefore have extremely high stats beyond your character's ability to fight them.

Take the Dragon Balls to the Dragon Ball Pedestal as shown in the video. You'll be able to make the wish as soon as you collect all of them; there's no other prerequisites to do this. Once you've done all that, enjoy having Hit in your game!
