Dragon Ball Z Budokai Playthrough - Pt.18 [EXTRA] || Vegeta Vs Recoome || Xbox 360
After easily disposing of Zarbon, Vegeta feels the energy of the Ginyu Force arrive on Namek and is confronted by one of their members, Recoome.
Recoome is the first member of the Ginyu Force to appear onscreen during the team's elaborate introductory routine to Frieza. He also is one of the longest-lasting Ginyu Force members in terms of screen time. Though, chronologically, he is defeated second and dies not long after. He is very close to his comrades, especially to Guldo, as he is constantly cheering him up in battle and is shocked with his death.
Recoome is fairly intelligent, as well as sadistic, and he greatly enjoys toying with his opponents and drawing them in with taunts.
His Japanese name, Rikūmu, is the Japanese word for cream (kurīmu) rearranged. Viz Media went with the spelling of Reacoom in the Dragon Ball manga to reflect this pun (the "Recoome" spelling also reflects this pun when cream is spelled as "creme").
The game is a HD collection that features both Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 1 and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 enhanced and re-mastered in HD, alongside full Trophy and Achievements support. The graphics of Budokai 3 HD are similar to those of Dragon Ball Z: W Bakuretsu Impact. Since the original soundtracks were composed by Kenji Yamamoto whose tracks have been accused of plagiarism, both included games have entirely new soundtracks, mixed from the soundtracks of Budokai Tenkaichi 2, 3, Tenkaichi Tag Team, and Ultimate Tenkaichi, plus entirely new music. Both games also sport the optional original Japanese language track.
Several improvements to Budokai 1 are added: the option for the 2nd & computer players on the right side to choose the "custom" setting when choosing a character, there are new transitions between the story video and fight scenes in the form of a "Z" that goes out on each side in the story mode, and there is a new title sequence comprised of scenes from the game interspliced with each other rather than just set the original sequence to "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" (the first opening song from the TV series) or the American theme, though this could just be on the European version of the game.
