After freeing all the people absorbed by Super Buu, Goku and Vegeta along with their sons and Piccolo managed to escape Buu's body and return to normal size. However, their celebration is short lived as instead of going back to his evil gray form, Super Buu reverts back to his original form known as Kid Buu who despite his small size has incredible power and quickly proceeds to destroy Earth. Knowing that neither he nor Vegeta are powerful enough to stop the blast, Goku with the help of Kibito Kai manages to evacuate everyone (except for Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Piccolo) to the Land of the Kais. Despite witnessing Kid Buu's power, the Saiyans turn down Kibito Kai's offer to fuse again since Buu's no longer a fused being himself and they wanna fight him with their own power...
