We continue the Namek Saga.
Goku's arrival meant that the tides have turned in favor of the good guys.
The Ginyu Force have been defeated, save for one, Jeice. He reports to Ginyu and he goes against Goku. Ginyu realizes that Goku's power level has reached up to 180,000. So he decides to do the next best thing: Change NOW! Ginyu's body swap ability and he's able to switch with Goku. But when Krillin and Gohan head back to Frieza's base, they meet up with Goku-Ginyu and Jeice. They soon learn that Ginyu swapped bodies with Goku and now they have no choice but to fight. Vegeta joins in as well.
During the fight, Vegeta kills Jeice. He then goes after Ginyu who uses the body change. Goku was able to get his body back but was severely weakened. He does it again only to end up swapping bodies with a frog. This is where the Ginyu Force ends, not with a bang but a whimper. Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin and Goku take the time to rest up and recuperate. Gohan and Krillin get new uniforms while Vegeta replaces his damaged suit with a new one. He then takes a rest while Goku rests up in one of the recharge chambers.
Speaking of which, Frieza pays a visit to the Grand Elder Guru. Sadly he has to contend with Nail who proves no chance. As for Dende, he meets up with Gohan and Krillin who tells them of a way to summon Porunga, the Eternal Dragon of Namek. Using the Namekian Dragon Balls, they summon Porunga who grants them three wishes.
The first wish was resurrecting Piccolo as by doing this, they bring Kami back as well. Piccolo suggested it. The second wish was to bring Piccolo to Namek. But Vegeta soon wakes up, finds out that the dragon has been summoned and he's pissed. Frieza is also pissed, having learned that the Grand Elder Guru pulled a fast one, sending Dende ahead. Vegeta arrives, angry but Gohan and Krillin assure him that only one wish remains. Vegeta asks for immortality only for it to come too little, too late. Grand Elder Guru dies (due to Frieza no doubt) and the Dragon Balls turn to stone. It gets worse. Frieza arrives and he's not too happy. He's pissed and decides to take it out on them so he transforms. Entering his first form with a power level of 1 million, he strikes Krillin like a bull. Gohan, in a fit of rage, attacks him only for that to prove futile.
Meanwhile Piccolo arrives on Namek. He finds Nail and Nail bonds with Piccolo hoping to give him greater strength. With this newfound power, he heads to save Gohan and friends from Frieza. In Part 12, Piccolo comes to save the day but will it be enough?
