I'm playing the Arcade Mode in the PlayStation Portable (PSP) fighting-game title Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai, released for the system back in March 2006 - the game is a spiritual successor to the PS2 Budokai games, released for the slightly weaker handheld system. It plays similar but different from the Budokai 3 game but is using the very same models for the characters. The "Infinite World"-title released for the PS2 in late 2008 is a title that more closely resembles this game and it's sequel. The main difference being that the PSP didn't allow the models to move their mouths and eyes unlike in the PS2-games.

I think this game has gorgeous graphics for the PSP - especially when playing on the PPSSPP emulator for the computer (or an Android phone) where the graphics card of the computer is enhancing the graphics of the game. The emulator also does allow a 10x increase of the in-game resolution. The game as such has 10x the graphical quality of the PSP.

I do own 2 PSP systems and the graphics are way worse if played on them.

DBZ: Shin Budokai is a great fighter for the handheld system and is more like a portable "Infinite World" than a portable "Budokai 3".

I'm using a finished save here with every character unlocked. I'm playing through the Arcade as Android 18 and taking a brief look at the story mode which is based upon a movie..
