In this part two of our three-part series we complete the majority of our construction up to painting and weathering the fighting compartment. The kit's strengths and weaknesses are discussed as building progresses. Instruction errors and other potential trouble-spots are detailed to help builders avoid them. Painting materials and techniques are also demonstrated as we paint and weather the fighting compartment.

In part 3 we'll complete construction and apply a beautiful period worn-torn finish to complete the model. Stay tuned for part 3 which will follow in about one to two weeks.
