This is a playthrough using Garner in the Arcade game Dragon Master. Read on below for more information...

Garner is the final boss of the game, and he is an unplayable character.

===== ABOUT GARNER =====

Aesthetics-wise he is kind of like a run-of-the mill musclehead with a devil/orge-like face... however in his portrait image, his face looks like a normal human one though. Due to him having a similar hairstyle to the main character K.Garcia, I'm guessing there may be some relation or link.

His stage background looks to be a location that looks like Hell, with his daughter Resistina being held captive (most likely by him) in a floating sphere.

===== GAMEPLAY =====

His special moves make him overpowered... one of them involves him creating a vacuum on grounded opponents that sucks them in for electrocution - this move is unblockable and once the victim is caught he/she cannot escape it. Some of his kick basics have good range as well.

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- His special moves do not use any of his Spirit Meter.

---- On the character select screen, when he is highlighted, he uses K.Garcia's sprites but in his colour palette. This is because he is never meant to appear on this screen.

---- Being a non-selectable character means that he only has the one colour palette you see in the video.

---- When you beat the game with him, he does not have an ending dialogue with Resistina. It just skips straight to the universal text and then the credits.

---- During gameplay, if you match/surpass the current high score, the game will pause momentarily with the message "You are the best from now." with your character doing his/her victory pose before the fight resuming. In Garner's case, he uses K.Garcia's sprites for this.

---- His character name can appear on the high score ranking screen.

---- The game appears to be unfinished regarding the intros for when you reach the three bosses - there are no boss images nor dialogues in the cut-scenes.

===== ABOUT DRAGON MASTER =====

Dragon Master is developed and published in 1994 by a Korean company named UNiCo Electronics, and it was released only in Korea. The general gameplay is somewhat similar to Street Fighter II, and it has the unique feature of a Spirit Meter, which consists of four bars. The more bars you have, the more powerful your next move will be, and it also affects the properties of some special moves.

Control-wise, the game uses a 4-button system (Light and Medium Punches and Kicks) but there are also Heavy Punches and Kicks... this is one of those fighting games where you have to press both Punches or both Kicks to get the Heavy.

Not much is known about the story but it appears to consist of eight fighters travelling the world to prove their strength before taking on the three bosses... with a female character named Resistina needing to be rescued from Garner (her father) by the looks of it.

===== STREET FIGHTER II SPRITE EDITS? =====

Those of you who have a good eye for and are familiar with Street Fighter II's character sprites and animation will see that a vast majority of the character sprites/animation in Dragon Master actually imitate the poses/styles from SFII's ones...
