Transcript:
Ages ago, the great godbird, Empyrea, travelled between the World of Light and the World of Darkness but learned the demon Lord Rhapthorne had conquered the Darkness and opened a portal to conquer the World of Light. Empyrea tasked Seven Sages to craft the Godbird Sceptre which sealed Rhapthorne in the sceptre as long as the Seven Sages each had an heir.
As time passed, two great kingdoms emerged in the World of Light: The Kingdom of Trodain and Argonia. Argonia's prince, Eltrio, renounced his throne to travel the world but was never heard from again. His brother Clavius, ruled fairly in his absence and sired a son, Prince Charm-less*. Meanwhile, Trodainian King, King Trode had a daughter, Princess Medea. Not that Madea.* Clavius and Trode then agreed to unite their great kingdoms with the marriage of Medea and Charm-els… Charm-lay? Whatever.
But one day, a jester named Dhoulmagus arrived and stole the Godbird Sceptre from King Trode. He cursed the Kingdom, transforming the King into a toad, the princess into a horse, and all the people into thorny plants. Thankfully, you, a Trodainian Guard were miraculously unaffected. Escort the king and princess from the cursed kingdom, find daring companions for your quest, and track down Dhoulmagus to undo the Sceptre's curse.
