Previously, after another base battle, the celebration took place at the Silver Bar in Khrumbul-Dun. Unfortunately, Madusa brought an end to it by turning Babs to stone. What a meanie! Now, to lure Madusa out of hiding, Heorot and the townspeople will build the Gold Bar. Heorot has laid out the Gold Bar Level 1 blueprint on the plateau above the Copper Bar.

After resuming, Heorot suddenly has a lot of new stuff in his inventory. I wonder if this is a bug.

To kick off the construction, Heorot speaks with Magrog for an errand (time 3:06). While the others get some materials, Magrog wants Heorot to lead off the construction by placing 50 Gold Brick blocks in appropriate spots on the Gold Bar Level 1 blueprint.

After getting the Gold Brick blocks ready, Heorot begins putting them down in the Gold Bar Level 1. Before long, he has placed the fifty blocks that he needs to (time 6:59). Magrog and others arrive with the materials that the townspeople will need for the blueprint.

Heorot reports in to Magrog (time 8:33). The townspeople will now follow Heorot's example and work on the rest of the blueprint. Errand complete!

For the next errand, Heorot again speaks with Magrog (time 9:40). Heorot wants to build some Light Boxes for the bar, but he wants them to be red. Magrog tells Heorot to go to an oasis across the bay to the southwest and find 10 pots of Red Dye. He also warns Heorot about a nasty slime thereabouts.

Heorot uses scaffolding west of the base to climb into the mountains. Then, he uses the Windbraker to glide across the bay to the southwestern oasis.

Near the oasis, Heorot encounters a group of monsters (time 12:46). They are four Shell Slimes and a King Slime. Look out for the Shell Slimes' Crack spells.

Heorot activates the Naviglobe in the area (time 14:00). He can now warp to the Oasis. The player earns the silver trophy "Wizard of Warping" for activating 12 Naviglobes.

Heorot mines the tiny islet in the oasis. The blocks with red splotches become pots of Red Dye. In no time, Heorot has the 10 Red Dye that he needs.

Then, Heorot fast-travels back to Khrumbul-Dun Town (time 15:37).

Heorot reports in to Magrog (time 16:17). Errand complete! Heorot learns how to make a new crafting station, the Tinting Tun. This can be used to dye certain items, provided Heorot has the dye needed.

At the workbench, Heorot builds the Tinting Tun. This simply requires 6 Earth and 1 Oil.

After some work, the townspeople finish the Gold Bar Level 1 blueprint (time 19:13).

Heorot speaks to Magrog for the next errand (time 19:28). Now, Heorot has to color some Light Boxes with Red Dye and then place them at marked spots in the Gold Bar. Eight Red Light Boxes will be needed.

Before building the Light Boxes, Heorot needs to make some more Glass at the Forge. When the Glass is ready, he builds eight Light Boxes. Then, at the Tinting Tun, he dyes them to produce eight Red Light Boxes. Afterwards, he places the Red Light Boxes in the Gold Bar.

When this is done, Heorot reports in to Magrog (time 23:35). Errand complete! This finishes the Gold Bar Level 1 for real. Afterwards, Heorot lays out the Gold Bar Level 2 blueprint. Ordelia tells a tale that may not be so fictitious.

Next time, Heorot will continue helping to build the Gold Bar.
