Dragon Quest has always been a unique RPG that goes back to the NES and is a legend of the RPG genre alongside Final Fantasy, this unique sanbox game was given a PS4 release in 2016.
Dragon Quest Builders follows a what if, at the end of the OG 1986 NES Dragon Quest game, the Dragonlord tricks the hero to a deal to rule the land, and many many years later, we, a builder awaken to reclaim the land for the hero yet to come, from Dragon Quest II. Given its most obvious influence is minecraft you'd think Dragon Quest Builders would be overly simple, but its not that clear cut.
We gather materials and construct our city, helping those who survived the reign of monsters recover and regroup here. You construct items by gathering materials and also defeat iconic monsters such as Slimes. Through blueprints you can given NPCS work for them to do, It takes time to get the world going but I think this is a good game, The sequel to this game will be tackled later on
