We are currently in Chapter 1: Cantlin. Previously, Davilas rescued Magnus from the ruins of Hauksness in Damdara Desert. With Magnus's knowledge, he crafted some iron arms and armor.

After resuming, Davilas cooks up more Iron Ingots and makes himself another Iron Broadsword. Might as well replace that Copper Sword.

When he is ready, he speaks to Rollo (time 1:18). He has heard from Sheridon that there is treasure in the Pyramid in Damdara, including fearsome fire-breathing statues named Evil Idols. Rollo tasks Davilas with raiding the two Evil Idols from the Pyramid. For this task, be sure to bring a Sledgehammer.

Davilas cooks up some more supplies before setting out. He makes a Sconce to replace one that he "appropriated" from the café to upgrade the workshop. He also builds a door and a mattress to take along for portable sleeping.

Davilas takes the Red Teleportal to Damdara Desert (time 5:29). He digs up a few cacti and Sandwort plants in the area near the teleportal. He also fixes up the Hammerhood's house near the natural arch. The Broken Brickwork must be replaced before the structure can become a room.

The Pyramid is in the western part of Damdara Desert (time 12:13). Following the main path, Davilas finds a large room with apparent humans worshipping the Evil Idols.

Using his Sledgehammer, Davilas snags the flame-spewing Evil Idols (time 14:37). No sooner does he do so than the worshipers are revealed as monsters! Davilas cannot defeat them, so he must flee.

Davilas successfully flees the Pyramid (time 15:19). However, he is not yet done here, so he goes back in. A couple of treasures are located past the obvious earthen wall.

One treasure is a Fireplace (time 16:17).

The other treasure is the Featherfall Footwear (time 16:51). With these equipped, Davilas need not fear falling damage. Perfect for mountaineering.

Davilas leaves the Pyramid. After digging up a few more goodies, he backtracks to rest at the rest area. East of Hauksness, he finds a cave where he can mine various materials, including Rubies.

Past the northeast mountains, Davilas can cross a sandbar to a smaller island. There, he finds a non-hostile Brownie at a graveyard (time 24:44). The Brownie teaches him how to make Gravestones. This is useful for a couple of sidequests.

When Davilas is done scrounging for resources, he zips back to the Cantlin base (time 27:06).

He reports to Rollo (time 30:03). Rollo contemplates the construction of a Steel Stockade to further improve Cantlin's defenses. He rewards Davilas with 3 Chimaera Wings. Quest complete!

However, another skirmish is in the offing. Davilas will take care of it next time.
