We are currently in Chapter 1: Cantlin. Previously, Davilas visited the castle through the Blue Teleportal and found the Defensive Designs. Now, maybe he can make some long overdue defensive upgrades to Cantlin.

After resuming, Davilas talks to Rollo (time 0:25). Rollo gives Davilas the Stone Stockade blueprint. He assigns Davilas to set up the Stone Stockade along the western edge of town, the direction from which enemy attacks tend to come. Davilas learns how to make Stone Wall, Stone Cladding, and Spike Traps.

After clearing out the space, Davilas lays down the Stone Stockade blueprint along the western edge of town (time 3:03). At the Forge, he cooks up some Stone Wall, which he uses to make Stone Cladding. Outside of town, he sets up a mass of Earth blocks and uses the Stone Cladding to convert them to Stone Wall blocks. Very efficient and handy.

When he has the Stone Wall blocks he needs, he sets them down on the Stone Stockade blueprint. He also has to cook up some Spike Traps. 10 Spike Traps require 3 Copper Ingots. In time, he finishes the Stone Stockade.

Davilas reports in to Rollo (time 8:55). Rollo explains that the region's monsters are under the direction of a ringleader. He rewards Davilas with 3 Furs. Quest complete!

Then, Davilas speaks to Larouche (time 10:45). Larouche asks for a Leather Sack, a Sconce, and a Shop Sign to be added to the workshop's walls.

Davilas already has a Leather Sack, which the large Brownies drop. The Shop Sign can be made at the Mason's Workstation. Davilas does not have the materials to make another Sconce, so he "borrows" one from the eatery.

Adding these items to the workshop, he makes it a Blacksmith's Studio. However, the type of workshop that Larouche wants does not have a Forge, so Davilas removes the Forge. This results in a Stonemason's Studio.

Davilas reports to Larouche (time 14:53). For making the Stonemason's Studio, Larouche rewards Davilas with 3 Woods. He also recommends Davilas put the Forge in the studio, which Davilas had already done. Urgh. Larouche also has a revelation about what destroyed Cantlin in the first place. Quest complete!

Davilas adds the Forge back to the studio to make it a Blacksmith's Studio again. A studio makes equipment more durable.

Then, Davilas speaks to Rollo again (time 16:42). Rollo assigns Davilas to make whatever upgrades he wishes and raise the base to Level 3. Davilas rebuilds and expands the Basic Bedroom and Blacksmith's Studio. Then, he applies Stone Cladding to all the Earth block walls.

In the process, the base reaches Level 3 (time 22:20).

When Davilas is done, he reports to Rollo (time 25:54). Rollo believes that there is a descendant of the legendary blacksmith Magog somewhere out in the world. He rewards Davilas with a Seed of Life. Quest complete!

Next time, Davilas will fight the third battle to defend Cantlin, though the Stone Stockade and other upgrades will make it a joke.
