We are currently in Chapter 3: Kol & Galenholm. Previously, Davilas started the chapter and planted the Banner of Hope in the ruins of Kol. Then, he met Glutimus and fixed up the Kol Public Baths for him. Davilas also repelled the first of many monster assaults against the struggling base.

After resuming, Davilas talks to Glutimus for the next quest (time 0:30). The monsters have set up a barricade just south of Kol. Glutimus asks Davilas to break through the barricade and take out its guardian.

As Davilas approaches the barricade, the guardian, a Knight Errant, appears (time 3:19). Not too difficult, but it can hit hard, so be careful.

After defeating the Knight Errant, Davilas reports to Glutimus at the base (time 4:25). Glutimus rewards him with 3 Chimaera Wings. Quest complete!

Then, Davilas talks to Glutimus for the next quest (time 5:50). Glutimus asks him to go south past the barricade and look for one of his comrades.

Davilas goes south past the barricade. He arrives in an area with cacti. He farms for some Cactus Cutlets, which he will soon be able to cook. There are also aggressive Spiked Hares, which drop Hareloin Steak. The small prickly pears yield Prickly Peach, which can be eaten raw.

Following Glutimus's quest marker, Davilas comes to a structure that he can complete for a rest area. He examines a note in the room (time 11:17). The note's author has holed out in a nearby mine to the south.

In the mine to the south, Davilas discovers a couple of valuable materials: Coal and Copper. Look out for the Crumbly Clodstone, which will break under your feet.

Deep in the mine, Davilas finds the owner of the voice (time 14:08). This is Burley. He asks for a Prickly Peach. When Davilas gives him one, Burley explains what happened to him. Then, Burley will follow Davilas back to the base.

To the east, Davilas finds a signpost by a very tall cactus (time 17:59). In accordance with the sign, Davilas can go 7 blocks north and 33 blocks east to find a treasure.

Davilas soon digs up the treasure (time 19:44). It is a Gold Ring, which increases max HP by 10.

After returning to the base, Davilas reports to Glutimus (time 21:54). Glutimus rewards him with a Seed of LIfe. Quest complete!

Davilas also talks to Burley (time 23:44). Burley moves into the base.

Davilas builds a Fishing Rod, which requires a Broken Branch, a COrd, and a Prickly Peach.

The next quest is from Burley (time 25:35). A vegetarian, Burley asks Davilas to make him a Cactus Steak. Davilas learns how to make Cactus Steak.

At the Cookfire, Davilas prepares Cactus Steak. Each Cactus Steak requires 2 Cactus Cutlets and 1 Coal. The Cactus Cutlet restores the hunger meter by 40%.

Davilas turns in a Cactus Cutlet to Burley (time 27:55). Burley rewards him with 5 lumps of Coal. Quest complete!

Next time, Davilas will fortify Kol with a protective wall and then repel more monstrous invaders.
