We are currently in Chapter 2: Rimuldar. Previously, Davilas defeated the Hades Condor and acquired the Storm Stone.

After resuming, Davilas chats with his townspeople. Then, he fixes up the modest damage that resulted from the Hades Condor's cheap wind attacks. It is not nearly as bad as it could have been.

Davilas talks to Elle for the last story quest of the chapter (time 5:52). She asks him to build the Staff of Rain.

At the Transmutation Table, Davilas builds the Staff of Rain. It requires the Storm Stone, 3 Pure Water, and 2 Wood.

Davilas reports to Elle (time 7:39). She asks him to offer it up at the Banner of Hope. Quest complete!

At the Banner of Hope, Davilas offers up the Staff of Rain (time 8:05). As in Cantlin, the light is restored to Rimuldar. Rubiss speaks to Davilas.

In the morning, Elle speaks to Davilas again. She noticed a great shaft of light rising from the hills to the north. Davilas should go take a look.

Davilas regains control (time 11:15). The daytime small town music from DQ3 has taken the place of the nighttime music. Davilas takes the time to talk with everyone around town. What Mildred has to say about Tantegel is not comforting.

Then, Davilas sets out. In the hills north of the base, he finds the shaft of light emanating from a portal (time 17:31). This leads to the next land, but as Rubiss warns, Davilas will not be able to take his possessions or most of his knowledge with him.

Before stepping through, Davilas returns to Rimuldar to save.

Then, Davilas enters the teleportal (time 21:04). Before he leaves for good, Elle arrives for a few last words. She has a little something for Davilas to take with him. Then, Davilas is wisked away.

The results screen for Chapter 2 appears (time 22:55). Davilas completed four out of five challenges: build the base to level 5, repair the ruined roof, obtain the Crown Goowels, and complete all of Thalamus's puzzles. That leaves the challenge to complete the chapter in 30 days. Each challenge yields new prizes for Terra Incognita. For completing Chapter 2: Rimuldar, the player earns the silver trophy "Redeemer of Rimuldar".

We return to the loading screen (time 23:55). We have now unlocked Chapter 3: Kol & Galenholm. New things are unlocked in Terra Incognita.

Next time, Davilas will hit the ground running in Chapter 3: Kol & Galenholm. It will be sink or swim.
