For those of you trying to solo him like I did here, try to build all 4 of your characters' Tension Gauge up and keep it until you need it, which seems to be anytime after his 50% HP point.
Once you get him down to that, he just spams anything and everything he can do. Especially that full screen crap.
Be weary of your footing and stand inbetween the little areas that you can when he drops that down and it makes the circles on the ground beforehand.
Oh, and a parting LOL @ the jobber loot he gave me, though... -_-
