After the events in Estark's palace, I am a little concerned about the elf-girl Rose. So, the party goes to Rosehill to check on her. Oh, dear; it seems that she has been slimenapped.

Afterwards, the party Zooms to Riverton (time index 3:01). You may remember that an inventor in the eastern part of town wants some gas to make a flying balloon. So, the party goes to his house to deliver it to him. After that, they spend the night at the inn. The next morning, they return to the inventor to find that he has completed his flying machine. So, he gives it to the party.

The Air Balloon allows the party to fly wherever they need to go on the overworld. Even though this is just a plain old balloon, you can control its direction. It really isn't explained, but you can change directions with the cross pad and land with the A button.

After flying around a bit, the party lands at Minikin's Dominion (time index 6:49). In return for a grand total of 43 Mini Medals, King Minikin rewards them with a Happy Hat. Not a bad hat; it restores MP as its wearer is walking around. It is pretty good for healers and mages.

After that, the party flies around a bit to fill in the map on the upper screen.

After the whirlwind tour of the world, the party heads back to the Pioneer Town, Heorotsville (time index 10:46). Prelvis Esley tells them about a couple that went in search of pirate treasure in a cave somewhere. After that, they have a chat with the frog on the north side of the pond.

The couple that Prelvis was talking about is in the Cascade Cave, the cave where the party found the Liquid Metal Sword (time index 12:26). The wife is on the entrance level. After talking with her about the frontier town, the party has to go downstairs to fetch her husband.

The husband is a couple of levels below (time index 13:58). His name is Streo Louse--not a name to inspire confidence. When the party tells him about the frontier town, he leaves.

After leaving the cave, the party Zooms back to Heorotsville (time index 16:24). The town has grown yet again! The party listens to a tale about Pioniria from Prelvis Esley. To the northeast, in front of the dog, the party can find Mini Medal #44 (time index 17:51). To the northeast, one barrel next to the item shop has been refilled with a Magic Water. The Item Shop itself has an upgraded inventory.

A pot in front of the northeast house contains Mini Medal #45 (time index 18:51). Inside this house, a pot contains a Seed of Magic. Also, the wardrobe contains a Chimaera Wing.

Along the side of the farmer's house in the north of town, a barrel contains a Seed of Strength (time index 20:25). Inside the house, a barrel contains 73 Gold.

On the northwest side of the pond, the friendly frog has more to say (time index 21:36). Streo Louse is standing nearby.

Inside the new large building north of the pond (time index 22:58), barrels contain Mini Medal #46 and a Seed of Life. Apparently, Zack has no business to conduct.

Apparently, in the northwest of town, a Pioneeratorium is being built (time index 24:02). What in the world is a Pioneeratorium?

Next to the inn, Streo Louse's wife has set up an accessory shop (time index 24:52).
