Previously, the party defeated Gemon in the Dark Godbird's Eyrie. They acquired the Godbird's Soulstone, which allows them to fly in the World of Light. Now, they will begin exploring sky-accessible locations in search of treasure.

The party resumes in Empycchu in the World of Light. The chief has more to say about Empyrea and Rhapthorne. It seems no one knows what happened to Rhapthorne's floating castle.

Outside, the party uses the Godbird's Soulstone (time 3:01). After some instructions from the fledgling Godbird, they take to the skies. The flying theme is "Heavenly Flight" from Dragon Quest III, and it is absolutely gorgeous.

First, the party lands on the plateau south of Empycchu (time 3:51). Nose for Treasure works on most of these elevated plateaus.

After a battle, Morrie reaches Level 38 (time 6:30). He obtains 9 skill points. He puts them into Passion for a total of 88. At 88 points in Passion, he becomes a Rank X Champione of Passion and learns the spell Kazing. Nice!

There is a locked red chest in the southeast of the plateau (time 7:34). It contains a Skull Helm. While this is cursed, it can be used to make something excellent, indeed.

In the Alchemy Pot (time 7:56), the party combines the Skull Helm and an Urn of Saint's Ashes. This results in a Sun Crown. The Sun Crown is decent enough headgear on its own, as it protects against confusion and sleep, but it can be used to make something even better.

The party Zooms to Argonia (time 9:21).

They visit the bazaar item shop (time 9:55). They pick up a Tough Guy Tattoo for 2,400 gold.

Then, they do some more alchemy (time 10:12). They combine the Sun Crown, a Tough Guy Tattoo, and a Magic Beast Hide. This results in the super-useful Timbrel of Tension. This can be used repeatedly as an item in battle to Psyche Up the entire party. The party gives the Timbrel of Tension to Angelo. Jessica gives Angelo the Meteorite Bracer and takes his Agility Ring instead.

The party goes to the Alchemy Pot again (time 11:34). They combine the Demon Whip from the Dark Godbird's Eyrie with an urn of Saint's Ashes. This yields a Scourge Whip. The party gives it to Red.

The party Zooms back to Empycchu (time 12:55). They use the Godbird's Soulstone again to take flight (time 13:08).

They land at the Godbird's Eyrie (time 13:35). I have to say, this place is a lot prettier in color.

They enter Level 1 of the mountain's interior (time 14:44).

After a battle, Angelo reaches Level 36 (time 15:53). The Templar in red obtains 8 skill points. He puts them into Charisma for a total of 66. At 66 points in Charisma, he becomes a Crystal Knight and learns the spell Kafuddle.

The red chest on Level 1 contains Mini Medal #099 (time 16:56). The party meets the quota for the next prize from Minnie.

The party takes a photograph of a Killer Croaker (time 18:45). This satisfies Challenge 010: "Two-faced Challenge". Challenge 010 is worth 1 stamp.

The party takes the northeast exit to a mountainside path (time 20:27).

After ascending the path, they enter Level 2 (time 20:43). They start in the northwest corner.

Davilas reaches Level 37 (time 21:35). He obtains 7 skill points. He puts them into Fisticuffs for a total of 8. At 4 pints in Fisticuffs, he learns basic unarmed combat techniques, becomes a Basic Unarmed Combatant, and learns the trait Attack +5 when Empty-Handed.

In the next chamber, the party exits north to the lower portion of Level 3 (time 22:30).

To the south, they find a locked chest (time 22:42). They open it to acquire Mini Medal #100.

The party returns downstairs to Level 2 (time 23:14).

Next time, they will finish exploring the Godbird's Eyrie.
