Hi, it's Sie! This is my comprehensive playthrough of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, the legendary 2004 RPG, where I will be playing through the PS2 version and covering content found within the 3DS version! With breathtaking cel-shaded graphics with that Akira Toriyama touch, and a unique approach to party and character building, it'll certainly be a legendary playthrough! I am aiming to make this one of the best playthroughs online of this beloved game, so join the journey!
This playthrough also integrates a full playthrough of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation, another legendary entry in the Dragon Quest series from the Famicom/NES era!
I will be playing some hip-hop and chill remixes of Dragon Quest VIII's music throughout the intros, intermissions and outros so as to invoke memories of the era that Dragon Quest VIII was released in. Please check out these artists at this playlist here, which will be updated throughout the playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrpnAEbz9In5yX9zavx55fyucseie-rQC
