Simpleton, a simple village with a simple name...Ok, maybe that was a bit corny, but It IS true. There's not much In this village aside from the point where we get to advance the plot. Make sure you grab the Mini Medal 4 (refer to 6:07) upstairs In the tavern and than talk to the guy dressed In red downstairs to Initiate a rather amusing scene. During the scene, we're Informally Introduced to Angelo and when things start getting pretty heated during the brawl, he drags both the Hero and Jessica out the back door, as It turns out, he WAS cheating during the card game, before he leaves, he gives his ring to Jessica and asks the party to ask for him back at Maella Abbey.

Back to the abbey we go, after eavesdropping on a conversation where It seems that Angelo Isn't all that much liked at the Abbey, we manage to run Into him and he asks the party to check up on the Abbot, claiming to feel an evil presence In the abbey. Before leaving, don't forget to pick up Mini Medals 5 and 6 If you haven't already.
