After a lot of travelling, we make It to Ascantha, only to find out that there's something going on In this town as soon as we step In. There's a somber mood throughout and everyone Is droopy faced. We soon learn the cause Is that this Kingdom's Queen passed away 2 years ago and the King Is still mourning. Ok...Well, It's not like we'll be able to bring the deceased queen back to life, or can we? Well, regardless...I'm not sure how our party will be able to address this issue.

After you've talked to everyone, upgraded the party's gear and picked up Mini Medals 11, 12 and 13 In town (refer to 1:03, 13:45 and 16:14), head to the very top of the castle to trigger a scene with Emma, the King's maid and than head back down and talk to her again, she'll mention nighttime being the only time that the King leaves his personal quarters. Head to the Inn and rest until evening, than return, speak to the King and try to exit the castle and you'll run Into Emma, who will explain more of the situation and ask her to seek out her Grandma (she lives by the church we passed by on the way to Ascantha).
