Dragon Quest Walk Classes Overview
8Welcome to Dragon Quest Walk Tutorials!
In this video, I will be doing an overview of the Basic, Advance, and Special Classes, and will be doing three battles with each class to show the damage output difference between them!
So, if you are new to the game, you might not know how the classes work, which is why I am going to explain some things about them.
There are going to be three class tiers: Basic, Advance, and Special Classes
For each tier, I will go over the max level for the tier, level needed to unlock the next class tier of classes, and levels the classes get permanent stats. Permanent stats are going to stats received at certain levels that are permanent to the character and carry over to other classes.
After going over the basics of the class tiers, I then want to do battles using each class to show how their damage output differs from the other classes.
Basic Class Tier
Max Level: 55
Unlock Advance Class Level: 50
Permanent Stat Levels: 20, 50*
*Exception to the Jester Class that gets permanent stats for Sage Advance Class at Level 55
Number of Soul Slots: 3
The Basic Classes include the Warrior, Priest, Martial Artist, Mage, Thief, Dancer*, and Jester*
Advance Class Tier
Max Level: 90
Unlock Special Class Level: 70
Permanent Stat Levels: 30, 55, 65, 70, 80, 90*
*Exception to the Monster Master Class +35, 40
Number of Soul Slots: 4
Special Class Tier
Max Level: 65 (as of September 27, 2023)
Permanent Stat Levels: 30, 50, 60*
*Demon Swordsman gets permanent stats at 30 and 60 only, but gets two permanent stats instead of one like the other classes
Number of Soul Slots: 4
Basic Level 20 = Advance Level 1
Basic Level 50 = Advance Level 30
Advance Level 45 = Special Level 1
Advance Level 80 = Special Level 35
Advance Level 85 = Special Level 40
Advance Level 90 = Special Level 45
