April 27, 2012 1:42 PM - Dragon Quest X (10) will be release in Japan on August 2, 2012 on the Nintendo Wii. The game is going to be an on-line RPG. You need the game to connect to the Internet and play on-line. There will be two different versions of the game available at the time of launch. The first one is the standard edition which will cost ¥6,980. The second one will cost ¥8,980 and will include a USB flash drive. If you decide to buy the standard edition you will have to buy your own flash drive with at least 16 GB of memory (require for playing on-line and download content). The cost for playing on-line will be ¥1,000 for 30 days, ¥1,950 for 60 and ¥2,900 for 90 days. The release date for the Wii U version is still to be announced. At this moment there are no plans to release the game outside of Japan.
