Previously, Heorot and his party began the content for Version 2: "The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally". They carried out Quest 213: "The Titus Compass" for a concierge to gather the materials needed to repair the compass for the Grand Titus. Then, in Rendoa, they visited Chief Sugim at the Ship Management Bureau and then boarded the Grand Titus, bound for the continent of Rendashia. In the process, they met an enigmatic character named Crows. However, the voyage was not smooth, as the party and Crows has to thwart the theft of the Titus Compass by a monstrous servant. The compass guided the ship through a thick, purple fog, but the ship was not able to reach its ultimate destination, the Kingdom of Gran Zedora. Thus, the Grand Titus landed at Kokolata Beach on the west coast of Rendashia. Reaching Kokolata Beach unlocked a couple of important new quests for the party. So, they will carry out these quests before they begin exploring Rendashia. In this video, they will carry out Quest 286, which raises the level limit from 70 to 99.

Kokolata Beach (time 0:28):

The party resumes at the church in Kokolata Beach on Rendashia.

At the pub, such as it is, they talk to Priestess Camilla. Heorot changes his vocation to Level 65 Gladiator. From what I've seen, this vocation outdamages any other vocations if it is set up decently.

The party Zooms to the Jungle Camp in the Booner Rainforest, Wena Islands.

Booner Rainforest (time 5:23):

The party arrives at the Jungle Camp at F-7. They rest at the inn.

Near the bank and bazaar, the party talks to Mimi, the Light Conductor. Mimi issues Quest 286: "As the Light Guides". The prerequisites for this quest are (1) to clear Quest 212: "Goddess's Will: Time of Liberation" and (2) to reach Kokolata Beach in Rendashia. Like Quest 212, Quest 286 is a fusion of several level limit quests in the Online edition of the game. There are a couple of tough boss battles, so I advise being at or near Level 70. The first objective is to talk to Mimi again.

So, the party talks to Mimi a second time. She gives them the Crest of Courage (勇気の紋章) key item. A cutscene takes place. The next objective is to visit Nazna, one of Mimi's colleagues, at Pippi's Inn in the East Orfea Region.

East Orfea Region (time 10:52):

The party arrives at Pippi's Inn at H-5.

At G-5, they talk to Nazna, the Light Conductor. Nazna gives them the Crest of Mercy (慈愛の紋章) key item. A cutscene takes place. The next objective is to visit Menar, another of Nazna's colleagues, at the Mogare Camp in the Mogarim Highway.

Mogarim Highway (time 14:59):

The party arrives at the Mogare Camp at C-3.

North of the inn, they talk to Menar, the Light Conductor. Menar gives them the Crest of Wisdom (英知の紋章) key item. A cutscene takes place. The next objective is to talk to Menar again.

The party talks to Menar a second time. This triggers an event. The party answers "Yes" a few times. The next objective is to help Minana, another colleague of Menar's, in the well in the Dorwaam Kingdom.

Dorwaam Kingdom (time 20:59):

On the lower level of the city, the party approaches the well in the south and prepares their lineup.

When they are ready, they go down the well at D-8. The confirm going down the well.

Right away, it is boss time against Vogel, the Magic Sealer (封魔フォーゲル). Vogel can act twice per round. At the start of the battle, Vogel mutes the party for the duration of the battle. Vogel has a spin attack that hits the entire party and a downswing that deals increased damage to a single target. His normal physical attack can inflict curse.

Since magic is sealed, the party must rely on abilities or items for healing. Fortunately, Mjoll and Daston can both get Hustle Dance, and Fura can get excellent healing abilities under her Wind-Riding Skill, including one that boosts the party's defence. She can also get a Fan ability that boosts the party's attack and magic attack. Hussar can use Attack Attacker to make Vogel's attack less scary.

At the end of the battle, Vogel provides a base of about 12,000 experience points and 6,000 gold.
