Previously, the party teleported to the Searing Strand landmark in the Erythia Sea. They explored the rest of the Brasa Geothermal Belt and entered the Malevolent Hollow. From there, they began infiltrating the Rebellion Cave, home of powerful monsters. Despite the danger, this is a great place to earn class ranks. The party explored the first couple of rooms. Now, they will continue exploring the Rebellion Cave.
The party resumes at the Vinisog Holm Camp in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region.
They skip travel to the Malevolent Hollow landmark in the southeast of the Erythia Sea. They enter and continue exploring the Rebellion Cave.
Sena masters the Flash Fencer class. She changes her class to Royal Summoner.
From the first room of the cave, the party takes the southwestern exit, which leads northwest to the third room. The third room is home to Level 96-97 Gulkins. In the north of the room, a group of three elite Gulkins guards a Soldier's Husk.
Taion masters the War Medic class. He changes his class to Lifesage.
The party takes the southwest path from the third room. It leads south/southwest to the fourth room, the Emerald Font landmark. This pool is home to Level 97-99 Merignas. There are large groups consisting of numerous elites, especially along the eastern side. Going the long way along the western side is a little safer.
On a ledge in the southwest, a group of elite Gulkins guards a Container. However, the party does not necessarily have to fight the Gulkins to get it.
The party takes the southeast path from the Emerald Font. Level 98-99 Tirkins and Ignas guard this way, which leads southeast and then northeast upslope.
The party reaches the fifth and final room, the Demihuman Gutter landmark. It is home to Level 98-100 Ignas, Tirkins, and Gulkins. Worse yet, there are the King-Kings, a pair of Level 102 unique monsters. on the northern platform. The party will save these fiend-fiends for later. They will also save for later the skirmish near the platform.
In the middle of the room, the party finds two sets of Soldiers' Husks to send on. I gather that one group is Kevesi and the other Agnian. If they died to the monsters in here, I am not at all surprised.
The southeast path leads to a dead end with a Container. The party can just avoid the Level 100 monsters at the campfire at the start of the path.
An group of an elite Level 99-100 Tirkin, Gulkin, and Igna guards the northeastern path. If you are worried about an Attacker or a Healer getting knocked out early in the battle, I would recommend starting the battle as a Defender. Lost Vanguard seems to be a particularly hardy class.
Sena masters the Royal Summoner class. Noah masters the Thaumaturge class. Everyone stays in their current class for now.
The party takes the northeast path from the Demihuman Gutter. It leads to the southern ledge in the first room, where the party can open the Container.
From the Demihuman Gutter, the party takes the western exit. It leads to the eastern ledge in the Emerald Font, where a group of Level 99-100 elite Ignas guards a Container. Controlling a hardy Defender at the start of this battle is also a good tactic. These monsters seem able to tear down Attackers and Healers in seconds.
When the party has finished in the Rebellion Cave for now, they skip travel to the Vinisog Holm Camp. They cook another serving of Highly-Piley Ocean's Bounty. Then, they rest and save.
Next time, the party will take a crack at the King-Kings in the Demihuman Gutter.
Thanks for watching!
