Previously, the party began working on the Tale of the Decisive Battle at Eternity's End storyline. They went to the Evil Cave of Creation on Fake Eterne Island and killed a Great Troll so they could collect some Magic of Creation in the Mysterious Goblet. Afterwards, they went to the Temple of Light and unsealed the way to the Eternal Corridor. They went through the corridor and visited the Nostalgic Room, the Entertainment Rooms, and the Hall of Illusions. They made it to the path to the Gate of the Abyss before they left to rest. Now, they will take the Gate of the Abyss to the Gate of Hades and confront Prince Toma and Great Demon King Madesagora.

Narvia Town (time 0:30):

The party resumes in the church in Narvia Town. Outside, they play the Dragon Flute to summon Hiryu.

Sky above Real Rendashia (time 4:36):

The party flies south from Gran Zedora. At Eterne Island at E-5, they choose to land at the Temple of Light.

Temple of Light (time 5:03):

The party goes down to the basement. There, they take the teleportal at D-5/E-5 to the Eternal Corridor.

Eternal Corridor (time 6:23):

The party arrives on the Nostalgic Floor, the top floor of the dungeon. They examine the door at D-7/E-7. They take the third option.

Mysterious Isolated Island (time 6:39):

Heorot arrives on the Mysterious Isolated Island. At D-2, he talks to the illusion of Anlucia and answers Yes, then No, and then No again to leave the island.

Eternal Corridor (time 8:01):

The party gains control in the northern Entertainment Room at D-2/E-2 on the Entertainment Floor. They continue north out of the room. As they approach the northern end of the path at D-1/E-1, they encounter several waves of monsters. Since the party encountered these critters in the previous video, I won't detail the fiends here.

After the battle, the party takes the gate at D-1/E-1 to the Hall of Illusions. They dash through and take the teleportal at C-1.

The party reaches the room in the Floor of Illusions. After preparing, they take the Gate of the Abyss teleportal to the Gate of Hades (奈落の門).

Gate of Hades (time 18:54):

The party arrives at the Gate of Hades, which looks deceptively non-hellish. Then again, so was the gate leading to the Dragovian Path in DQ8. Coincidence?

A scene with Prince Toma, Great Demon King Madesagora, and Anlucia takes place. Toma's attempt to break through the gate fails, but Madesagora has awaited the arrival of the real Hero. Madesagora only sees humans as tools. When Anlucia refuses to help him open the gate, Madesagora wants Toma to convince her to change her mind. When she refuses, Toma declares her his enemy and attacks. She refuses to back down.

Prince Toma (time 24:23):

After the scene, it is boss time against Prince Toma (トーマ王子). He acts twice per round. His evasion is pretty high. His normal attack is a Falcon Slash, and it can reduce attack power, defence, and magic defence. He can establish Ironclad Wall, which blocks all physical attacks, or Exorcism Shield, which blocks all magic attacks. His Curse of Memories can prevent Anlucia from taking actions. His punishing Black Slash can deal about 900 damage to a single target. He also has an ability that cures him of debuffs and gives him super high tension.

Toma's attacks can be deadly, especially Black Slash. Fura's Saint's Wind will help by helping a party member survive lethal attacks, and Hero's Shield will also help. Fortunately, Toma seems not to have any magic or breath attacks to worry about.

Gate of Hades (time 44:05):

Another scene takes place after Prince Toma is defeated. Madesagora tricks Anlucia into charging Toma with the power needed to unlock the gate. Then, the Great Demon King absorbs power from the Great Source of Darkness according to an ancient contract. Darn, it is those hands that chased the party as they fled from the Heart of Hades after defeating Nelgel. Infused with power, the Great Demon King challenges the party himself. Anlucia is required in the lineup for the upcoming bout.
