Previously, the party did some grinding against Gotthard, the Ethereal. Now, they will challenge the Level 80 unique monster, Thunderfish Duna-Roa, at Raguel Lake. This will get them the parts they need to upgrade their weapons to Rank X.

0:36 - Colony 9

The party resumes at the Colony 9 Camp. They use their hard-earned Bonus EXP to advance to Level 84.

In preparation for the upcoming battle, the party visits the Colony 9 Supply Office at the Central Plaza. They buy six Incenses of Elegance that grant 90% resistance to Sleep. Most of them equip one of these. The party also has a superior Incense of Elegance that grants 100% resistance to Sleep, so Glimmer equips this one. I wish I remembered where the party got it.

The party skip travels to the Lakeside Camp, the Ragmos Desolation and sets the weather to thunderstorm.

6:09 - The Ragmos Desolation

In Raguel Lake during thunderstorm weather, the party encounters the Thunderfish Duna-Roa, a Level 80 unique Ravoon. Its Silence of the Deep art inflicts Sleep and Slow Recharge in a large area of effect. It drops the Silver Ravoon Bones required to upgrade weapons to Rank X. Look out for its Ocean Halo arts, which get progressively nastier as Duna-Roa's HP declines. Its drops also include Strategy Manual, vol. 13, and Strategy Manual, vol. 17.

The party skip travels to Riku's Workshop, Colony 9.

29:37 - Colony 9

In the workshop, the party upgrades Matthew's Ouroboros Knuckles, A's Monado, Nikol's Variable Backpack, Glimmer's Wildfire Kithara, Shulk's Monado REX+, and Rex's Firelight Swords to Rank X. Thanks for the Silver Ravoon Bones, Duna-Roa. The weapon upgrades are now complete.

The party skip travels to the Dragongate, Black Mountains.

30:48 - Black Mountains

The party gathers more Fibrous Aspar Meat and Exalted Ories Briskets. Then, they skip travel back to the Panorama Camp, Aurora Shelf.

33:21 - Aurora Shelf

At camp, the party levels down to Level 60. They also cook a serving of Ftheri Torpedo Wrap.

They skip travel to the Gotthard, the Ethereal, grave. They challenge Gotthard, the Ethereal, and defeat it and its brood again.

Afterwards, they also fight the Fogtrawler Tallstuff again.

When they have finished, they skip travel to the Colony 9 Camp, Colony 9.

The party currently has enough bonus EXP to reach Level 87, though they do not do so just yet.

The party saves. Next time, they will do some more grinding.
