Previously, the party continued working on the Tale of Twin Wings of Hope Flying into the Sky storyline. Having restored Falchion, the Sky Steed, they returned to the Twisted, Deformed Land, where Anlucia and Falchion took out the barriers blocking the entrance to the Demon Palace. Then, the party began exploring the Demon Palace. In the northern wing, they defeated Evil Cubism and cleared up the Painting of Paradise. In the western wing, they defeated Wild Fauvism and cleared up the Window of Freedom Painting. Now, they will explore the eastern wing and then confront the palace's boss.

Real Gran Zedora (time 0:30):

The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora.

Outside, they play the Dragon Flute to call Hiryu.

Sky above Real Rendashia (time 4:20):

The party flies southeast from Gran Zedora. Over the Real Liana Desolation at F-6, they choose to land at the Path to the Deformed Land.

Real Liana Desolation (time 4:52):

The party enters the Twisted, Deformed Land at G-6.

Twisted, Deformed Land (time 5:07):

The party starts at E-8 in the south of the First Demonic Gorge. Directly to the north, they examine the gate at E-7. They take its bridge of light north to D-1/E-1 in the Fourth Demonic Gorge.

The party exits north at D-1/E-1 to the Demon Palace (魔幻宮殿).

Demon Palace (time 5:30):

From the entrance hall, the party takes the door at D-5/E-5 to the Goddess Room in the center of the dungeon.

They take the door at E-4/E-5 to the eastern hallway. They go upstairs at E-5 to the eastern hallway on the middle floor.

In the east, he takes the door at H-4/H-5 to the Forest Guardian Painting exhibition room. At H-4 in this room, a black chest contains a Rainbow Orb (虹色のオーブ).

The party backtracks and takes the stairs at E-5 down to the lower floor. They take the eastern door at F-4/F-5 to the eastern part of the Garden.

In the north, there is a stone marker at F-3. At G-3, a black chest contains 10 Labyrinth Coin Fragments (迷宮コインの破片).

In the east, the party takes the door at H-4/H-5 to the Forest God Painting exhibition room. Within, a black chest at H-4 contains 3 Seeds of Agility (すばやさのたね). Raguas, Anlucia, and Fura each consume one.

The party goes back out to the Garden. In the south, there is a stone marker at F-6 has story info.

The party takes the door at G-7 to the Secret Forest Painting exhibition room. After preparing their lineup, they examine the Secret Forest Painting at G-7. They choose to enter the painting.

After a brief scene, it is miniboss time against Dark Realism (ダークレアリズム). As usual, this boss can act twice per round. Its Romanesque Colour ability transforms the entire party into useless Mudrakers (ドロヌーバ) for a round. Its "Call Friends" ability summons a Bone Baron (しにがみきぞく) into battle, for a total of two. As in the previous two battles, if the Dark Realism uses "Call Friends" when two Bone Barons are on the field, its action will be wasted. Each Bone Baron can also act twice per round. They have an on-hit Curse attack, and they can cast Zammle. Not Kazammle, fortunately. When enraged, they can use Multithrust.

The Romanesque Colour ability makes this fight very annoying. There is no preventing the transformation, and each party member's buffs are dispelled. The Bone Barons' on-hit Curse attacks are fairly annoying, as well. Fortunately, the Bone Barons' attack power can be reduced.

At the end of the battle, the Dark Realism provides a base of ca. 47,900 experience points and 26,401 gold.

A brief scene takes place afterwards. The Secret Forest Painting clears up.

The party gains control in the painting world. At D-1/E-1, they take the northern gate. A scene takes place in the Goddess Room. Three of the paintings have cleared up, but now the Goddess Painting becomes the Captive Goddess Painting.

They arrive at E-4/E-5 on the middle floor of the Goddess Room.

At D-4/D-5, the party examines the Captive Goddess Painting. They choose to enter the painting.

The party arrives at D-4 on the upper floor of the palace. They use Sage's Elixirs to restore MP. It is also an option to leave the palace, rest at an inn, and save the game. Also, be sure to have a few Yggdrasil Dews on hand, and make sure Fura knows Saint's Wind (聖女の風).
