Davilas the Elf is currently working on the storyline for Gatara, the first Dwarf hub city. He previously delved into the Urubea Ruins and defeated a war-mech that Gatara's leader, Daston, awoke deep within. Pretty good dungeon.

Now, to get his Key Emblem from Gatara, Davilas heads into the junky house at B-4 (time 0:47). After some prodding from his servant, Daston is finally convinced to hand over the Key Emblem. After a little servant-master bonding, Davilas gets the Yellow Key Emblem! Yay! Just one more Key Emblem from a first hub city remains!

The other rewards for completing this quest line are currently 24,000 experience and 2,800 gold (time 3:13).

After regaining control, Davilas reaches Minstrel Level 35 (time 3:26). He gains 4 skill points. He puts 2 points into Litheness for a total of 46, whereupon he learns Tap Dance. He puts the other 2 into Staves for a total of 26.

Then, Davilas restarts Quest 199: "Ride On Dol Board!" with Memme at D-1 in Gatara (time 6:19). Just so I can show the whole quest properly. After accepting the quest, he departs Gatara and heads west to Urubea.

Now, with a lot of these quests, if you go to the quest description in the battle records, you can pull up a map showing the location of the quest objective by pressing the Map button (time 8:48). Ooh, almost like other MMOs!

After a brief walk, Davilas arrives at the Urubea Ruins again (time 12:07). The quest objective is now located at a fallen pillar at D-6 in the entrance room (time 12:37). It used to be down near the boss room. Thanks again to one of Cranberry's informative videos for showing me where this item is! Anyway, the item that Davilas finds here is a broken Dol Board.

Back in Gatara, Davilas takes the broken Dol Board to Memme at D-1 (time 15:09). She will fix the Dol Board and give it to Davilas to keep, along with three vials of the Dol Serin required to fuel it.

For now, the fuel tank lasts about 30 minutes. There is a quest later on to increase the tank's capacity. To ride the Dol Board out in the field, hold the Autorun button. To fuel up the board, use the Dol Serin from the main menu, or follow the fuel-up prompt when the board is empty. Quest 199 can be repeated once a day for another vial of Dol Serin. It is also available for 500 gold a vial at the item shop.

At the inn, Davilas picks up some goodies from the concierge before resting up (time 18:21).

After Davilas rests for the night, he reaches Fame Level 8 (time 20:27). Hey hey!

Then, he drops off his goodies at the Vault (time 20:52).

With the gate quest giver, he accepts a quest to kill 20 Lizardmen in Upper Jure (time 22:00). He previously had to get a quest item from a Lizardman for the inventory expansion quest.

Returning to the field, he shows off use of the Dol Board (time 22:45).

Afterwards, he tries to redo Quest 303 properly, starting with Tansu in the Delacroix Institute (time 23:59). Sorry, though; I have not quite figured out how to do this as of this recording.

Now, after returning to Tansu the wardrobe with the items, you have to bring something to Delacroix at G-6 in the Delacroix Institute (time 31:38).

From what I've gathered, you need to go to the monster pit underneath the pub (time 33:24). As to exactly what Delacroix wants, I don't know yet. The rug with the item shop symbol is in front of the monster pit's sales clerk (time 37:02). It is not really clear to me what those critters want. Davilas tries getting the 500-gold Slime book.

Unfortunately, Delacroix does not seem interested (time 40:10). Okay, Squeenix, where's our localization?

As an amusing side note, Chiri's face mask is available for purchase from the armour shop in Gatara! lol

After futzing around with this for a while, Davilas boards the train to go to Juretto (time 44:49). Another cutscene will take place while he is en route, and this one is a bit disturbing. Fortunately, a familiar face rouses Davilas from his nightmare. Hourou reiterates that Davilas needs 6 Key Emblems.

The teleportal on the train platform in Juretto leads to the eastern exit of town (time 47:43). Perfect for getting to the church, where Davilas sets his spawn point and a Ruura Stone for Juretto (time 48:22).
