Previously, the party finished their hunt for monsters missing from the bestiary. Now, it is finally time to visit the Fortress of Fear.

After resuming, they first Zoom to the Pirate Hideout. Between the Gyldenhal and Erik and Mia's Shelter in the Sniflheim Region, they find a chest they missed to the east. It contains the recipe book "Snowfield Styles". It contains recipes for Fenrir Fangs, Ice Claws, and Avalanche Axes.

Then, the party flies to the Fortress of Fear. They require the Sword of Light before they can approach. A scene takes place when they arrive. They do not quite go unnoticed.

The party arrives in the Entranceway of the Fortress of Fear.

A scene takes place as they approach the front door. Mordegon's gatekeeper, Indignus, drops in and challenges the party to battle. As one can expect from his size, he has powerful physical attacks. His moves include Falcon Slash, a multiple-slash attack, and a desperate attack that can knock his target off their feet. His Gigathrow can paralyze a target. He has a high parry rate. The blue blast from his orb emits Disruptive Wave. He also has a spell, Kacrack. If you have good equipment and Omniheal, this battle should not be too bad.

After Indignus is defeated, at Level 54, Serena learns Kafrizz. Under Vim, she picks up Spooky Aura. At Level 54, Sylvando picks up the Whips ability Lash Batter. At Level 54, Hendrik picks up the Shields ability Back Atcha.

A scene takes place after Indignus is defeated. The party retrieves the Blue Orb. The party can now enter the Fortress of Fear. Also, there is a convenient save point in the northeast of the Entranceway.

After saving, the party enters the Fortress of Fear. They pass through the entrance hall and arrive in the central shaft. The western and northern doors are blocked, so the party goes to the east wing.

In the southern room in the east wing, a chest contains 3 spatters of Molten Globules. In the eastern room, past the Metal Dragon, there is a pressure plate. When Davilas jumps onto it, it removes the barrier from the western door off the central shaft.

The party goes to the west wing. In the southwest room, a chest contains the recipe book "Pride of the Valkyries". This contains recipes for Warrior Princess's Headresses and Warrior Princess's Dresses. This is a costume change set for Jade.

In the northern room of the west wing, against the northern wall and under the landing, a chest contains a Liquid Metal Jacket. Very nice.

Against the northern wall on the large landing, a chest is really a Pandora's Box. Crud. Look out for Thwack spells. Upon its defeat, it drops a Seed of Skill.

Along the western side stairway, a pot on floor 2F contains a Colourful Cocoon.

On floor 2F, the party can go out to the western exterior. A chest contains a Chronocrystal.

Back inside, in the southeast room of the west wing, a chest contains 3 Technicolour Dreamcloths.

When the party reaches the central shaft on floor 2F, the Luminary's powers destroy the crystal barrier. The party can now travel to the floor below, a new sparkly spot has appeared on the first floor, and the party can use a Dragooner's dragon to fly upstairs from floor 1F.

The party continues to the east wing of floor 2F. The door in the eastern hall leads outside to the eastern exterior of floor 2F. Atop the tower to the east, a teleporter leads to the northwest side of the map. The party must tame a Hard-Boiled Eggsoskeleton to continue upstairs. Look out for Kamikazee.

Upstairs, the party goes inside to the northern wing of floor 3F. At the western end of the hallway, a chest contains the recipe book "General Directives". This contains the recipes for General's Jackets and General's Jackboots, a costume change set for Hendrik.

In the central shaft on floor 3F, Davilas gets rid of another barrier. This creates another shortcut and causes more sparkly spots to appear on the ground floor. Dread Dragooners appear so that the party can claim their dragon mounts.

On the western landing, a chest contains three Sainted Somas.

Outside, the party uses the goddess statue to rest and save. Next time, they will continue exploring the Fortress of Fear.

Thanks for watching!
