We are currently in the postgame. Previously, at the Tower of Lost Time, the party armored Cetacea for the battle with Calasmos. However, there is a lot to do beforehand. The party is currently running around in search of Ultimate Key treasures and new events. One major event is to find NPCs and help restore Cobblestone to its former peaceful self. The party also heard that Derk had been captured by a monster around Cobblestone.

The party resumes in Cobblestone. After preparing themselves, they head south to Cobblestone Tor. They go through the Cavern.

At the Face of Cobblestone Tor, they find Derk being menaced by a green-eyed Malicious Hades Condor! The "malicious"-level enemies have green eyes. The party rushes to the rescue.

The Malicious Hades Condor is a good introduction to the hard-hitting new enemies of the postgame, especially in super-strong monster mode. Its Kasizzle spells can do a ton of damage to the entire party, and its physical attacks are punishing. It has high evasion, to boot. Still, this birdbrain is manageable if you put up two levels of Magic Barrier and use Blunt to reduce its attack power. You might be able to stick Fizzle on it, too. Having Omniheal on the protagonist or Serena is very helpful.

After the battle, there is a scene with Derk. He rewards the party with a Spectralite, a material that the party will eventually need. Also, Derk goes off to Cobblestone to assist with the rebuilding.

When they return to Cobblestone, they find that Derk has made it there. He has increased the inventory that Cobblestone's shopkeeper has available. Gemma can remind Davilas about who else she needs.

For the next Ultimate Key treasure, the party Zooms to Gallopolis. In Gallopolis, they go down into the well next to the armour shop. The Ultimate Key door is in the west of the well. Behind this door, a chest contains a Fire Ball.

Next, the party Zooms to Gondolia. However, no sooner do they arrive than they find the city has been overrun by malicious monsters! Near the town entrance, they find Noah, who gives them the lowdown.

So, the party goes around Gondolia and defeats the invading monsters. There are various malicious-level monster groups scattered around on the main thoroughfares. The party must defeat them all in one visit, or the defeated enemies will be revived. By far the nastiest monster is the Badonis on the Grand Stage. His attack power is insane, and he has Multifists.

On Veronica's Character Builder, the Maximum MP +30 panel at the left of her Vim skill is a surprise panel that awards 10 bonus skill points when acquired. The hidden panel just to the right of it is Kaboomle!

Once all the monsters have been defeated, the party speaks with Doge Rotondo in the Doge's House. The doge rewards them with the Thunderstorm Sword. He also reminds them to talk to Noah.

With peace restored to Gondolia, the party opens the Ultimate Key door south of the Doge's House. It admits them to a secluded alley. The chest in the north contains an Agate of Evolution. The pots in the south contain Mini Medal #079 and a Pretty Betsy. The chest in the east contains a whopping 50,000 gold!

Near the entrance of Gondolia, the party talks to Noah. He and Connie head off right away.

The party Zooms to camp to rest and save. Next time, they will continue their search for plot events and Ultimate Key treasures.
