Previously, the party finished exploring the remaining elemental paths in the depths of the Fortress of Blight. Now, it is finally time to take on the final boss of the game.

After preparing, the party leaves Pilchard Bay (time 2:43). They take the Skystone to the island with the Cathedral of Blight.

When they arrive, they enter the Cathedral of Blight grounds on foot (time 3:39). They enter through the front door and descend directly down through the bowels of this dungeon.

When they reach the pool, they use the Earth Amulet (time 6:17). They go through the Chasm of Chaos. I have chosen this area because it is reasonably straightforward, and going through the rock walls causes enemies to despawn.

At the end, the party takes the purple teleporter (time 8:30). They are healed and transported to the final area, Demon King's Domain.

After a few lifts, the party approaches Orgodemir (time 9:55). In a cutscene, he issues the usual villainous spiel.

Then, it is time to battle phase 1 of Orgodemir (time 10:34). Not too hard; just look out for his breath attacks. Insulatle is a definite asset. His tail flicks are also punishing. Put up Oomph and use powerful attacks.

After taking some damage, Orgodemir transforms to phase 2 (time 14:36). Now, look out for powerful magic attacks like Kafrizzle and Kaboom. Magic Barrier is useful here. Orgodemir also has that annoying gleaming eye attack that puts a party member to sleep. Oomphed physical attacks are still useful here.

After taking enough damage, Orgodemir transforms to phase 3 (time 17:54). He's not looking well, but he hits even harder. He has a roaring attack that does over 100 points of damage to each party member, and he has a powerful slam attack. Worst of all, he now has Disruptive Wave. At this point, the only buff I would worry about is Oomph. Multiheal and Omniheal are both helpful for survival.

Eventually, Orgodemir transforms to phase 4, his final form (time 22:16). He is definitely looking poorly now. He gets back breath attacks. He also gets the punishing Magic Burst. After using it, he will waste a turn restoring his MP. Furthermore, he can deploy a couple of helpers, Orgon and Orglob. He still has the annoying Disruptive Wave.

A scene takes place after the battle (time 27:59). So long, Orgodemir.

The party arrive at the Divine Shrine (time 28:48). The guard at the entrance to the eastern shrine asks them to go in to receive some well-earned adulation.

After gaining control, the party goes into the eastern shrine (time 31:16). A scene takes place with the mother superior. Time for the victory tour to begin! After the scene, the party talks with everyone in the shrine.

Before they can proceed, they must talk with the knight on the lower level (time 34:49). This triggers the arrival of their transportation.

Outside, they talk to the soldier standing at the rainbow path (time 36:03). They decide to depart.

Then, they approach the Skystone (time 36:17). Before they leave, Sir Mervyn has some sad news to impart. Afterwards, the rest of the party departs aboard the Skystone. The victory tour proceeds as it did in Dragon Quest V and Dragon Quest VI, where the party is transported to various locations that they visited throughout the game.

They first arrive at Alltrades Abbey (time 37:36). There, they chat with everyone. They probably have to talk to the high priest (time 38:22). They can also find Putric Stinkenheimer and the Mighty Pip on the lower level (time 40:19). On the upper level, they can find Bulgio and his son.

When they are done, they choose to move on (time 46:05).

Next, they stop off at Aeolus Vale (time 46:20). They speak with everyone they can find. On the lower level of the eastern building, they talk to Mayor Serafina, who has definitely changed (time 50:54). They can also find the Praetor of Villa Priores at the top of the eastern plateau (time 53:39).

When they are done in Aeolus Vale, they move on (time 54:09).

The next destination is La Bravoure (time 54:36). Next time, the party will continue their victory tour.

Thanks for watching!
