This is video #131 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. I am playing the Western version for the Sony PlayStation 4. We are currently in the postgame. Previously, a new threat, Calasmos, made himself known. The party flew to Havens Above, where they met the Watchers and obtained the Ultimate Key. Now they have to chat with Havens Above's Mayor in the Temple of Dawn.

Davilas is now the Near-Legendary Luminary.

After resuming, the party enters the Temple of Dawn. In the Chamber of the Guiding Light, they talk to the Mayor. In the scene, the party acquires the Guiding Light. Also, Elder Eegoltap comes and powers up the party. They are restored to their late-game levels and skill panels. Veronica is leveled up, as well. Now, Serena does not acquire Veronica's powers, but her own powers, as well as Veronica's, are greatly expanded. Now, the party must seek out the three Seedlings of Yggdrasil down in Erdrea.

After the scene, the party reacquires some of the skills on their skill panels. I won't detail everything they get here.

Back out in Havens Above, some of the Watchers around the temple have information about the Seedlings in the world below.

First, the party Zooms to Angri-La. They find the first Seedling in the snowy earth. They see a vision similar to what we saw in the alternate timeline.

Next, the party boards Cetacea, and they fly east to the Zwaardsrust Whale Way Station. In the far north of this area, they examine their second Seedling. This one shows a little something new.

Afterwards, aboard Cetacea, they fly southwest to the Laguna di Gondolia Whale Way Station. In the northwest, they examine their third Seedling. This shows more, but it doesn't answer everything. Then, the Seer puts in another appearance. Something very interesting indeed happens with the twins.

When the scene is over, Davilas reaches out to the new "tree". He sees a vision of the shocking conclusion to Erdwin's battle with Calasmos.

Afterwards, Davilas examines the "tree" for a second vision. This one reveals the nature of Erdwin's Lantern, as well as what happened to Serenica. Afterwards, the Seer also reveals her--or should I say his--true identity.

Davilas talks to Morcant for another scene. Very interesting. Now, the party must visit the Watchers again and then go to the Tower of Lost Time. After the scene, Veronica and Serena learn the Mighty Magic Burst pep power.

After this long sequence, the party regains control at the Laguna di Gondolia Whale Way Station.

They Zoom back to Havens Above and save at church. Next time, they will visit the Mayor and the Elder again at the Place of Legends.
