This is video #003 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. I am playing the Western version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, Davilas and his childhood friend, Gemma, finished their coming-of-age ritual on Cobblestone Tor. They have now returned to their home village, Cobblestone.

Before heading home, Davilas explores the main part of town for treasures. It's adorable that folks are trying to matchmake Davilas and Gemma.

When he is ready, he heads home to his mother, Amber. When told about what happened at the summit of Cobblestone Tor, Amber drops some interesting news.

Davilas comes to in the middle of the night. He must visit Gemma in the middle of town. She speaks a bit about the Luminary of old.

In the morning, Amber has set Davilas up with some traveling clothes. She also gives him an allowance. He should shop and then report to the town entrance for a sending-off.

South of Davilas's house, a neighbor offers a quest, "The People's Friend". He asks for a Flurry Feather, which can be found on the roof of Davilas's shed. When Davilas hands over the Flurry Feather, the man rewards him with a Sleeping Hibiscus. Easy quest.

If you're using the super-strong enemy setting, be sure to pack a few Medicinal Herbs.

Finally, Davilas arrives at the northern entrance to Cobblestone. Davilas receives the Map of Erdrea and access to the town's horse. Gemma pops by with a final gift for him.

Afterwards, Davilas gains access to the Heliodor Region. However, he returns to Cobblestone because there are some treasures in the southern part of town, Cobblestone Canyon.

Next time, Davilas will begin exploring the Heliodor Region along his way to Heliodor, one of the largest towns in the game.
